Terms of purchase
General Conditions
Your purchase is regulated by the Contracts Act, consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Purchase Act, the Right of Withdrawal Act, and the E-commerce Act. To the extent that these laws are applicable, and if you are a consumer, they will take precedence over this Agreement.
1. General
The Agreement consists of the information provided by Bag’in regarding the product and purchase in the web store’s ordering system (including details about the nature, quantity, quality, other characteristics, price, and delivery terms of the goods), any direct correspondence between the parties (e.g., email), and these terms of sale ("Agreement").
In the event of a conflict between the information provided by Bag’in in the ordering system, direct correspondence, and the Agreement, the direct correspondence and the information in the ordering system will take precedence, unless it contradicts applicable legislation.
The Agreement applies when you, as a consumer (“you,” “your,” or “the customer”), place an order through www.bagin.eu (the “Website”). The Agreement is made between you and GardenStore Int. AB, organization number 559441-2636 (“Bag’in,” “we,” or “us”).

According to Swedish law, Bag’in does not accept credit purchases from individuals under 18 years of age. You hereby confirm that you are authorized to enter into a purchase agreement from the website.
Bag’in reserves the right to amend this Agreement from time to time if such changes are deemed appropriate for business operations. In case of changes to the Agreement, we will notify you of the relevant changes 14 days before the changes take effect. An updated version of the terms will always be available on the website, and we therefore recommend that you check these regularly.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights, including copyright for images and content on the website, product design and layout, domain, trademarks, etc., are owned by Bag’in. Any use of the website and its content, including copying or storing all or part of the content, for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without Bag’in's permission.
3. Prices
The prices listed in the web store include VAT. Information about the total costs you need to pay, including all charges (value-added tax, customs, etc.) and delivery costs (shipping, postage, invoice fees, packaging, etc.), as well as the breakdown of individual components of the total price, is provided in the ordering solution before the order is placed. (Product deliveries to Svalbard or Jan Mayen will be sold without the addition of VAT).
4. Product
Bag’in reserves the right to change prices, include additional fees, and amend product information, such as product images and sales, without notice. The available product images and descriptions reflect the product as accurately as possible. We reserve the right to correct any errors on the website and cannot guarantee that all images reflect the exact appearance of the product.
Images may vary depending on your computer's color settings. All images should be considered as illustrations and do not guarantee accurate and exact appearance or features.
5. Agreement
The agreement is binding for both parties once your order has been received by Bag’in. However, a party is not bound by the agreement if a typographical error occurred in the offer from Bag’in in the ordering solution of the web store or in your order, and the other party realized or should have realized that such an error existed.
6. Order Confirmation
When Bag’in has received your order, we will confirm the order without unnecessary delay by sending you an order confirmation. You are encouraged to check that the order confirmation matches the order in terms of quantity, type of goods, price, etc. If there is any discrepancy between the order and the confirmation, you should contact the seller as soon as possible.
7. Payment
We use Stripe as the provider of our checkout. This means we may transfer your personal information in the form of contact and order details to Stripe when the checkout is loaded, so Stripe can manage your purchase.
8. Delivery, etc.
The delivery of the item from Bag’in to you will be made in the manner, place, and time specified in the ordering solution in the web store.
If the delivery time is not specified in the ordering solution, Bag’in will deliver the item to you within a reasonable time and no later than 30 days after the customer has placed the order. Bag’in is responsible for ensuring that the goods are transported to the destination in an appropriate and customary manner unless otherwise specifically agreed between the parties.
9. Risk for the Goods
The risk for the goods transfers to you when you take possession of the goods according to the agreement.
If the delivery time has passed and you refuse to accept an item made available to you under the agreement, you still bear the risk of loss or damage due to the nature of the goods.
10. Right of Withdrawal
You may cancel the purchase in accordance with the right of withdrawal regulations. The right of withdrawal allows you to return the item to Bag’in within 14 days after receiving the item, even without any defect or non-delivery. You must notify the seller of your intent to withdraw, and the item must be returned within 14 days of this notice. Bag’in will refund the purchase price and delivery costs within 14 days of receiving the returned item. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
11. Inspection of the Goods
When you receive the goods, you should reasonably inspect whether they conform to the order, whether they were damaged during transport, or if they have any other defects.
If the goods do not conform to the order or have defects, you must notify Bag’in through a complaint, as described in clause 11 of the agreement.
12. Complaint of Defects and Time Limits for Reporting Delays
Bag’in is legally obliged to deliver goods in accordance with the agreement. If the goods have a defect, you must notify us within a reasonable time, and no later than two months after discovering or should have discovered the defect. Complaints must be made within five years. In case of delays, claims must be made within a reasonable time after the delivery date has passed. Claims can also be made directly to the credit card provider if payment was made via credit card.
13. Delays and Non-Delivery – Buyer's Rights and Time Limits for Making Claims
If Bag’in does not deliver the goods or delivers them late in accordance with the agreement between the parties, and this is not due to you or circumstances on your part, you are entitled, under Chapter 5 of the applicable rules, to withhold payment, demand fulfillment, cancel the agreement, and/or seek compensation from Bag’in.
14. Liability
Any compensation is limited to your proven and documented financial loss. Compensation does not cover losses due to personal injury or losses that may arise in your business operations. Bag’in is exempt from liability and other consequences if the performance of the agreement is prevented, impeded, or delayed due to circumstances beyond our control or force majeure, such as natural disasters, war, strikes, etc.
15. Buyer's Rights in the Event of Buyer's Negligence
If you do not pay or fulfill other obligations under the agreement or law, and this is not due to Bag’in or circumstances on our part, we may, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, Chapter 9, withhold the goods, demand fulfillment of the agreement, terminate the agreement, and claim compensation from you. We may also, under the circumstances, charge interest on late payments, collection fees, and a reasonable fee for uncollected goods.
16. Warranty
The warranty period is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty applies to the Bag’in product itself and not to any items the Bag’in product is used to protect or store. To make a claim under this warranty, please follow the claim procedure (e.g., fill out the contact form, provide proof of warranty, etc.). Return costs are covered by Bag’in. The warranty does not cover:
- Improper use or negligence
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, fire, war, etc.)
- Normal wear and tear or aging
17. Dispute Resolution
The parties shall strive to resolve any disputes amicably. You can contact the Consumer Council for assistance in a dispute with the seller. If an amicable settlement is not reached after consulting the Consumer Council, the parties may request in writing that the Consumer Council refer the dispute to the Committee for Consumer Disputes.
18. Applicable Law
This agreement is governed by Swedish law. Disputes should be resolved amicably to the greatest extent possible. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be decided by your local general court, i.e., the court in your place of residence.
